“Getting information off the Internet is like taking a drink from a fire hydrant.”

Mitchell Kapor

That is the reason why I created this site...

I have been using a soldering iron doing stuff since I was 14 years old, trying to replicate one of Mark Tilden's BEAM little robots.
Recently, I have rediscovered my love for electronics through the world of music reproduction.

Inspiration for this new endeavour was mainly the DIYAUDIO forum, an excellent source with many generous people sharing information, including but not limited to Nelson Pass, John Curl, Peter Daniel and many other famous or not so famous but extremely generous people.

One thing is weird however. Most of the very interesting threads are HUGE, making it extremely difficult to locate information. The search works nicely, or perhaps googleing with site:diyaudio, but still it is quite difficult to get started or locate the most current info.

That is why I decided to create this page. I have been participating a lot in some threads, and I would love to have my findings and personal choices in one place. Both for personal reference and for other people to enjoy.

The site is still under heavy updating, so some sections might not work temporarily.
